BatchPhoto can easily resize and rename dozens of pictures in one operation for uploading online, for sending as email attachments, for auction sites and so on.
Pros: Simple to use and an intuitive interface is the highlight of the BatchPhoto Lite application. It can do a set of operations on a batch of photos. This becomes necessary when uploading to a photo site is required or they need to be sent as attachments to e-mail or it could be a batch of product photos you want to upload to a auction site/ your shopping site.
Typically one needs to define the size, add some annotation, name them meaningfully etc. Processing starts with specifying the process steps and creating a profile, a file that drives the processing according to the process steps decided. Size can be defined in terms of pixels or a percentage of the original, text font, size etc can be specified. The processed photos retain the EXIF information created by cameras or scanners in the originals. Meaningless names assigned by the camera or the scanner can be renamed by assigning text strings and a sequence of numbers. Date/time information can be added by the BatchPhoto application if they are not there, added by the camera or scanner.
Besides these manipulations the BatchPhoto package can also take care of rotations as necessary. Besides powerful photo editing features are available too. Touching up, applying transforms and effects etc can be done easily.
Cons: How many other effects, could have been added is debatable. Actually list of features are always never ending. Other than that there cannot be any complaints here.
Overall: This package really makes it easy to manage the batch operations one needs on many occasions. BatchPhoto manages the process very easily with an intuitive and visual interface. A definite 5 starrer.
